Appalachian Fair is the second-largest event of its kind in the state of Tennessee and has been a cherished tradition in the Tri-Cities for 98+ years. Come and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of a real old-time country fair at our next event to be held August 19-24, 2024 here on the Appalachian Fairgrounds in the Gray community. Featuring pageants, talent shows, contests, livestock showings, agricultural exhibits, carnival games, and more than 30 fantastic rides, it’s every year an “affair” to remember! Oh, and did we mention the country music and contemporary Christian entertainment, the Demolition Derby and Bull Riding, and of course the fabulous fair food..
